format and dates

• Duration: 4-5 hours in one weekend day.
• Available dates: yachting for beginners is held in summer time, as well as in warm autumn, in September.

Why a sports yacht outing with APCharter?

We do this outing for the purpose of learning and sport, it is important to us that you can set the sails, manage the sails and retract the sails. We want it to be fun and active and most importantly safe. We do not run hen parties, stag parties or weddings, this is not for us. We conduct training sailing outings in detail telling and showing every manoeuvre on board.

IMPORTANT: you can buy the whole yacht or you can join individually as a crew.

• Participants check-in, get on the boat. A short briefing on safety, on life jackets and a tour of the boat.
• Short 'dry' training - learn how to moor.
• Training out to sea: engine, sails.
• Turns overstag and forward.
• Snack on the water/possibly anchor in the bay and swim.
• Return to base, mooring. Everyone - a sip of Prosecco. You're good! We'll be sure!
• We'll share our feelings and wishes.

What equipment? What to wear?

• Let's start at the top, with the head! A light hat or cap/skirt, goggles, sun cream on your face, don't spare any.
• Light windbreaker, fleece jacket in case of bad weather. In hot weather: T-shirt or comfortable shirt.
• Comfortable shorts (if warm) or sports and waterproof trousers in case of windy and cool weather. Please no jeans, they are uncomfortable.
• Shoes are comfortable, soft, sporty and preferably with white soles to avoid leaving marks on the white deck
• Swimsuit/towel. Yes, there's a good chance we'll be anchored - to swim or to on returning to the harbour to take a dip in the river straight from the stern of the boat.
• A bottle of water.
• Medications. If anyone is allergic or has any medical conditions, please bring along your prescribed medication and tell the captain how to use it in case you have symptoms develop.
