This means that you rent a yacht from one of the charter companies. There are many nuances to the process, but most of all it is like renting a car. You can talk to charter companies yourself, but without a lot of experience it’s hard to know which firm you can trust and which one you can’t. This is where you need our help.

First of all you need to decide on the dates of your trip. The minimum period for which you can rent a boat is a week, from Saturday to Saturday, and for English charter companies from Friday to Friday. A fortnight is also possible 🙂 If you want to rent a yacht for non-standard dates, for example from Wednesday to Wednesday, it is possible, but not with all charter companies, and such service will cost more.

In short — in spring and autumn it is best to go where it is warm — for example, in Turkey. At this time it is not hot there, but the wind is stable and the sea is warm.
In summer, almost all destinations are available — from Norway to Croatia. You can choose between the Mediterranean and the Baltic Sea, between trips in the northern fjords and cosy bays in the Adriatic.
Winter is the best time for yachting in the tropics (Thailand, Cuba, Seychelles or the Caribbean). New Year’s Eve among white sands and azure water sounds like a great idea! Another popular winter destination is the islands in the Atlantic Ocean, primarily the Canaries. The breath of the islands of eternal spring is strongest in January in stark contrast — when in many other parts of Europe there is snow and cold winds blowing. Escaping from this to a place where the sails are white amongst the cliffs and dazzling blue waves is an experience that must be experienced at least once if you are a yachtsman.

If you have a skipper’s licence — you can take the boat on your own (be brave — otherwise why did you study?!). If you don’t have a licence — we can easily find you a boat with a captain. The price for a certified captain for a week starts from 950 euros — but this choice will allow you to get rid of your worries and concentrate on your holiday. You owe us friends and a good mood.

What your boat will be for that week — it just depends on your plans, budget and personal wishes. Estimate how many people will go with you — the size of the boat depends on this. How many couples do you have? How many singles who will be sleeping in a separate cabin? Or maybe it’s just the four of you, but you still want a large yacht from 50 feet with a three-cabin configuration, with a large forward master cabin?
The usual staterooms on a yacht are double cabins, with one large bed. This will be your room for the duration of your sea adventures, where you will wake up and fall asleep to the splash of the waves and the creak of the gear. Take a head count — at least roughly — so we can tell you what size boat you need to accommodate everyone comfortably.

All kinds of boats will be available to you — from spacious catamarans to yachts with extra sails (spinnaker, gennaker) for more speed on full courses. It all depends on what you imagine your ideal holiday to be. Will it be a week filled with adrenaline and sails? Or a relaxed holiday with anchorages in small coves and grilling at the stern of the boat? Or both? In choosing a boat, everything matters. Yachts may have different types of sails, such as a ‘classic’ mainsail on battens, or one that is furled into the mast, ‘furled’. One yacht may have a large water supply, another may have less. So you need to decide which format you like/want, and choose a yacht based on that. And that’s what we will help you to understand!

Once we have selected a boat for you, we will send you its description and photos, price, payment terms, answer any questions. If you fall in love with your boat at first sight — we will pre-book it with a charter company, and then to confirm the booking you will need to make payment — 50% of the rental cost. Payment of the remainder is usually made one month before you move in to the boat. The security deposit (boat deposit) is payable on site upon acceptance of the boat.
